Class 6

The Internet Unwrapped

Service Description

This session introduces students to how the internet enables global connections and how data moves between devices. They will explore concepts like data packets, IP addresses, and the role of servers and routers. The lesson will also provide a surface-level introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), explaining how AI processes large amounts of data to make decisions or predictions. Students will learn why the quality of data matters and how AI relies on accurate and diverse sources. For the activity, students will create a physical “network map” to visualize how devices connect and communicate, then analyze examples of AI tools, examining the data sources they use. This will help them understand the importance of critically evaluating the information AI is built on.
